NOLA! We began this section of the trip with guess what... food and beer! Big surprise! Ben's cousin recommended Erin Rose bar off of Bourbon Street for a cold brew and "killer po-boy" as their sign touts. We visited the Aquarium of the Americas and ate our way through another wonderful city.
Yummy Poboys and fun atmosphere.
Cafe Du Monde
You can't visit New Orleans and not have the Cafe du Monde experience!
The Mississippi River
Big and watery...
The Audabon Aquarium of the Americas
This was definitely a highlight of our New Orleans visit. It was really special to see all the wildlife and we were lucky to be there just in time for the penguin feeding!
muffaletta from Central Grocery
Central Grocery claims to have invented the yummy sandwich – either way, very tasty and very big.
This restaurant had a very friendly wait staff and yummy food. We sat in their courtyard an enjoyed brussell sprouts and a white pizza.
We stayed at this nice airbnb which had these pretty lights waiting for us at the end of our hot busy New Orleans adventure day.
This was our bon voyage meal. Nothing like a little etouffee to round out a trip to New Orleans. Slim Goodies also had some great Yeehaw prints up. Thanks New Orleans!
